WHAT A VIEW! This is the only way to describe it. This temple was sitting in between a lake filled with luscious tree’s and this grabbed my attention as soon as we were walking passed it.

You wouldn’t even believe me if I told you how amazing the scenery was at Seven Star Crags which is about an hour and a half from Guangzhou. This was the first thing you encounter with before walking about a half mile into the main entrance. Seven Star Crags craved into the mountain. Hope this picture does this place some justice.

After a RIGOROUS 5 minute hike ( just kidding, but it was steep ) We were finally at top of a hill that not only gave us this view of Cal State East Bay but also the view of parts of Alameda County. Here are two photos, one shot in HDR and the other converted into Black and White.

These rocks were simply amazing to look at in real life. Decided that all of you needed to also see how these were all put together at this site. While everyone were going to more festive things in Hong Kong, we decided to check out the Nian Lian Garden in Diamond Hill. More to come, stay tuned.

Shot as the same day as the previous tower in guangzhou, but this is a landmark for Chinese people. Known as the their tallest building. It was a neck breaker looking up but it was sure worth getting this shot; even though I had to lay on the ground in order to capture the entire building =P

This building is as tall as it looks in the photo, as it does in real life. This thing is humongous. Our uncle was driving us to have dinner with the family when I saw this tower from afar, we had to pull up to the gate (shown on the bottom of the picture) and I shot as fast as I could not knowing if we were allowed to be there.

When I looked at this huge tree, it just struck me and I knew I had to somehow compose this shot. The sky was very muggy that day, as in the pollution was noticeable even with the sun beaming down. This might be my favorite photo throughout the whole trip, as this was taken in one of the old villages we visited that day.

We were visiting some family friends who lived near the harbor. Of course as you travel, number one rule is to always carry your camera with you. After dinner, it was nightfall and that’s when you automatically start looking for photos, and how you’d compose them. Here is a shot I did as we were strolling along the boardwalk.

This is one of those shots that you get really lucky with. Catching the sky within its last moments known as the “golden hours.” We were strolling along this “festival of lights” at California’s Great America and I just happened to have turned my head, saw the sky and took as many shots as possible. This is my end result.
